(REAL NAME) This review is from: Premier Futon Mattress, BLACK I looked everywhere on the net for a futon mattress and was pleasantly surprised to find one on for under $100. The mattress arrived just five days after ordering it and it was in great condition. It’s SOOO comfortable! I could not believe how thick it was! The mattress we replaced was so thin, that you could feel the metal frame underneath you, but with this mattress, it is about three or four times thicker than the standard mattress that futons come with. So comfy that you forget it is a futon; it really feels like you’re sitting on an real sofa. I could recommend this to anybody who is looking for a futon at a great price.

(REAL NAME) This review is from: Premier Futon Mattress In my case, I was stuck starting the semester after moving to a new apartment from a furnished one. I required to furnish my room, but I was on an very tight budget. As well, I tend to fly and move around many so purchasing a mattress I could get attached to for a extended period of time would not be smart anyway. I’m not an air mattress person, and the idea of spending 3 4 months on one was really unpleasant to say the least. This was by far the cheapest futon mattress I could find online or off and it seemed like a good agreement. Not so cheap that I end up sleeping on a bubble pad or air mattress, but well inside my price range for a mattress that I may or may not be giving away in some months.

The Mattress:
Is exactly what I needed. I LOVE firm mattresses so one meant for a futon was a good choice. Blame it on years of sleeping on dorm beds. It is properly squooshy too, though, so it is not as if I am laying on a rock. I was pleasantly surprised at how damn good it looked. The cover does not appear like its price. I really was not happy about the hole I discovered in it, though. See below. Futon mattresses I have seen in the past have typically been much thinner and uneasy, but this is nice and thick. It is more like a real mattress. But, I noticed while moving it around that it is really hard to fold caused by being so heavy and more like one big cushion than a foldable futon.

The Service:
Pay attention to the vendor’s shipping dates and ignore Amazon’s if you really want it. I has been shocked when I saw it leaning outside my door. I had just come back from looking around at a mattress store and considering canceling my order because I has been tired of waiting so long. I had ordered it over break stupidly expecting it to take a couple of weeks. Since the estimate had run out and buyer service clarified to me it may take four more weeks just to ship, I was just about fed up. Real shipping lightned fast, but. It got here on the same day it was sent out. It arrived in a thin plastic level that served as “packaging” that had some number of holes in it that had clearly been torn while being bumped around. Since it is the dead of winter, that meant the mattress got dirty and I found a small hole really torn into the mattress on one end. This did not matter to me since, hey, it is only $10 shipping for a freaking mattress, but I can imagine it could matter to others.

(REAL NAME) This review is from: Premier Futon Mattress, BLACK I could not believe it when the UPS delivery pulled in the yard. It was very fast shipping. The mattress is thick and comfy. In the stores the same mattress sells for twice this total. Can not say enough good about this Company and their shipping. Could defintely buy from them at some point.
